"The app makes it incredibly simple to help your little student master all varieties of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division." - The iPhone App Review (Rating: 4 Stars).

EZ Math Flashcards is a flashcard app that requires NO setup to get started learning addition, subtraction, multiplication and division from 0s to 99s (we know you will probably only use 0 through 12).

Select a switch or two and you child can begin. The results of the test, which appear automatically upon completion, can be printed and/or Emailed (HTML). The app can be used to work on one number at a time (eg. multiplication table for 3s) or batch them together for a complete test.

Take a look at the screen shots. The first one is the setup screen where you can select the number or numbers to display.

The "Flashcard Setup (All Numbers)" section has several switches. Turn ON the Shuffle switch to Shuffle all of the numbers which have been included in the "Individual Number Setup" section by turning the "Include" switch to ON for the desired individual numbers. The "Display Answer Screen During Test" switch allows the user take a test undisturbed by the incorrect answer message. The user will not know which problems were missed until the end of the test. The Timer section contains the controls to create a timed test and works for the individual number sections below as well as for a batched test using the Include switches. The Show Timer switch is selected to show the timer during the test. The Count Up selection will start at 0 and simply count up. The Count Down selection will display an area where a time can be entered for a timed test. If the Show Timer is set, a countdown timer will be displayed at the bottom of the screen during the test.

The Test/Study switch will always default to "Test", and if changed to "Study" will display the list of the problems (with answers) selected using the other controls to allow a student to first study before taking a test.

The "Individual Number Setup" section controls the setup for a particular number. For example, if you want your child to work on his/her 3s multiplication table, simply scroll down to the 3s section, turn the "X" switch on and press the "Begin 3s" button. By default, this will display problems from 0 to 12 (i.e., 3 x 0, 3 x 1 to 3 x 12). These lower and upper range numbers for the 2nd operand can be modified any way you like from 0 to 99 by pressing on the number and using the number keys to make modifications. The app will not allow you to have the lower range number larger than the upper range. Simply turn the "Shuffle" switch to ON to shuffle the problems displayed.

The "Shuffle" switch in the "Individual Number Setup" section is used to shuffle the problems for that number only. If you batch a number of individual numbers (by setting their "Include" switchs to ON), and have the "Shuffle Numbers" switch in the "Flashcard Setup (All Numbers)" set to OFF and press the "Begin Numbers Included Below" button, the problems will be batched from 0s to the last number included, in order. The individual numbers within that batch will be shuffled if the "Shuffle" switch for that Individual Number is ON. But if the "Shuffle All" switch is ON in the "Flashcard Setup (All Numbers)" section, the entire batch of problems will be shuffled.

The Subtraction problems only display problems with positive answers. So if you select the 2s for subtraction from 0 to 12, the only problems displayed will be 2 - 0, 2 - 1 and 2 - 2.
